How do I check the stater on a 90cc Arctic Cat

I have been trying to find this and I also need to know where the ground connects.

to test it just take 12v to the starter terminal. that bypass the swich and solnoid. if it dont turn you can try taping it with a hammer when you are touching the terminal with 12v's and if it turn u just need brushes.
