my 250r hood conversion

didnt like the maier 1 peice raceing fender on my 300ex, also didnt like the light on my 300ex, bought a new old stock maier 88/89 250r hood dirt cheep off a guy who had 2 of them. moddified that and modified the 300ex front fender. I wanted the 250r look with out the 250r....this is what i came up with. my 300ex light fits right in the hole perfect, just need to have a mount fabbed up and the light will go in.

I was just thinkin bout doing this today as i was checking out new plastics for 300ex and saw the 250r hood with the square light hole. Looks Good

yes it will work better on the stock fender since they already had a removable hood.

he can say what he wants. bikes been stripped to frame to get power coated. ill throw pics up when all done.

i always fix whats not broke anyway so it dont break later...

stock parks.........nah ill mod everything......

i wonder if he thinks a fully gusseted frame is a waste also.:huh
