swingarm bolt

I am in the middle of an engine change and the the nut will not come off the swing arm bolt. It sits there and spins with not much torque applied. It was bought in July of 2008 and has never been removed. Has anyone else had issues and is the nut a nylock? Solutions????

One Solution drill the bolt at the nut end with a drill just larger then the bolt take care to stay on center, the bolt can be held by the head end with a socket to kept from spining start with smaller drill and work up in sizes should only have drill in about 1"
you will need new bolt a nut.

So the bolt is not spinning but the nut is and it won't come off?

The nut and bolt were both spinning but the nut would not back off when holding the bolt head. I got the nut off by first melting the nylon from the nut and then drilling out the nut end of the bolt.
