I've been doing some heavy jumping and I blew my rear shock and think my fronts need to go.I think I'm gonna get some 450R fronts since I have +2 A-arms but I'm not sure my friend has a used works rear for 100 should I jump on it or is there a interchangeable rear from a new race quad that's better.I weigh like 205 so I need to toss the stock crap I hate bottoming out

100 bucks don't sound too bad for a works shock. You can always have it rebuilt to your specs and would work great for sure. I know that a z400 rear shock can work on the 91 and 92 models but i'm not sure on the 87-90's. might want to look into it. As for the front the 450r shocks would probably be ok, it will raise the front up some though. I'm thinking about trying yfz450 shocks. They are 15 3/4 long, stock fronts are 15. And 450r shocks are around 16 1/4.

I'm going for the works but the front is the thing now I think my quads very stable with the +2 Arms I'm thinking with 450R fronts if it sits about an inch taller it will be an inch narrower? If u come up with a good front conversion let me know I need to be able to take big landings on the cheap if possible
