Elka Question

I bought some used Elkas, and tonite I noticed one of the piggyback rezzies sits a closer to the spring than the other one. On one of them, I can fit a finger between the two, on the other, I can't. Nothing appears to be bent to the naked eye. Is this normal?

I Just checked the three sets That are in the shop and they are the same

I think I might have figured it out. I think the shockware seam (where they overlap to velcro shut) is between the shock and rezzy on the one that my finger wouldn't fit between, and on the one that it did, the seam is on the outside.

I hope it's that simple, and I'm that stupid.
