coan u put an 05+ clutchbasket on a 99-04 400ex

i was wondering bc my clutch basket is about to decinagrate and i found a cheap 07 basket.

Dont quote me on it but im pretty sure you can, from what I remember the plates might be different or may have an extra or so, but that basket should be the same. Im not 100% tho so dont quote me on this.

it looks like th part numbers are different on the bike bandit site but i suppose it may still be the same. steve

i did the same thing on motosport a minute ago and the numbers were close but the newer one has a different ending but the only difference i see between the 2 is the 2007 model is 100$ less than the 2000. i guess its there way of making money.

o and they have the same amount of plates to.

i found a difference the 07 has a shorter piece in the back center than the 04 and under
