Got my new lonestar arms today for my 07 but when I started putting them on I noticed that the grease zerks in the arms hit front suspension pick ups. Here is a pic of the issue. http://madkobayashi.com/0000/IMG_3571.JPG

Do I need to clearance the frame or did I get the wrong arms. The grease zerks on my houser arms were on the bottoms of the arms. These are on the tops. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have the same a-arms on an 07 and there is only two choices that I have encountered

1. Grind the frame out so the zerk will clear with suspension fully compressed.

2. Go to local hardware store and buy a set screw to fill the hole. I am going this way as I already have my frame powdercoated.

Thanks. Now at least I know that they are the right a-arms.

A friend has a set and its the same way. Just remove the zerks and plug the holes.

i just plugged the holes on the rear of the artms . i would grease the arms before i plugged them though. i plan on pulling mine down in a month or so for some powdercoating and i will cut the frame then to clear. if you don't plan on modding the frame , i would put the zerks in and grease them every so often, depending on the how much mud you ride in.

We leave our zerks in our a-arms and us X-Factor Motorsports skid plates. They are wider than most and protect the zerks. www.x-factormotorsports.com.

No, worries. I understand what your problem is. I was just putting that out there for anyone that has their zerks under the a-arm.
