my bike is sputtering and back firing in second gear i know my cluthes are slipping but what can cause this to happened im getting my carb rejetted again as we speak i was at a 165 then went up to a 170 which was recommeded when i switch from a slip on to a full exhaust now im putting on a 172 i dont think this will fix the problem but we ran out of options.first i bought a cfm alum. airbox and when i installed it i didnt put the rubber holder around the seloniod and i rode for about four hours thinking my battery was low. but the whole time my selonid was shorting out. second off when i put my new exhaust on it the header was stoping the clutch lever from fully releasing so i rode the bike for about 15minutes with the clutch slightly engaged.:( now both problems are fixed and my bike isnt performing right any help would be appreciated.
