I did some awesome riding today. Kinda cold tho only in the low 20's. The lake looked so tempting until I saw the unfrozen part. I'll pass. I took some pics of my 400 in the trails. Soon as I get em back I will have to try and post them. May need some of you guys/gals help.

I don't know if it is "legal" or not but people ride on Candlewood lake all the time. Every winter when it freezes people are out on quads and snowmobiles over in my area at the Danbury town park. Cops never do anything about it....not sure they care. No one is hurting anything. No harm No foul.

Today it was freezing, they gave most schools a 2 hour delay. I got down to 20 below 0 at my friends house and 15 at mine and another kids house. The power also went out at our house :(

We got about 3" of snow last night. We went riding today for about 3-4 hrs and it was cold!19 was the high today with a 15-20 mph wind. Now it wasnt that bad as long as you were on the trails but it got real cold riding the road.(with all the snow why not)Strange thing was my heels were what really got cold!Toes were chilly at first but didnt bother me after awhile, but my heels froze! Fingers got a lil cold a couple times but would warm easy by the motor. If you ride in the cold get the wind proof gloves they really help.THat snow burns up the gas too.we ran out faster than usual.I guess form all the drag. And the dust isnt half as bad as following someone in a dry snow.I couldnt see squat!

i took out my 300ex the other day just in my drive way to make sure it starts and to charge the batery up and it was -16 Farinhiet with out the wind chill.
the other night it was -35 Farinhiet with out the wind chill and the wind was at 25 mph gust to 35 mph. with the wind chill it got down to -55 Farinhiet. that is what i get for living in northern maine.
