PRM full body skid, is this a good price?

This is probably a really stupid question but I was offered by a friend of mine a PRM full body skid for 50 dollars. I figured it was a good deal. Is it worth getting or should I just try to make my own skid. He says it rattle some when you ride is this normal for these type of skids, and how can i fix it thanks.

hell of a good deal, prm makes the strongest skids out there. the reason it rattles is cause they have spacers to mount them up and one is maybe a touch longer than the rest, you could solve the rattles by using rubber washers or even trimming the spacers down a touch and see if it will pinch tighter on the frame. mine rattles too sometimes but im being lazy.
