It was so sick! Congrats Travis, you are my idol!

The fact that he did it in a Subaru STI only makes it cooler, since I roll in an 09 STI :D

Amazing!

If you were expecting a longer jump, he'd have gone hood first into that barrier a a much faster speed. By what the announcer said, it seems as though 90pmh was a key for this jump to happen. I'm sure the some brilliant engineer somewhere said that hitting that ramp at this speed was critical.

awesome! Was a perfect landing on the ramp too. I'm sure he would have liked to have a slightly longer landing strip though :p

yes there was alot of planning and calculations that went into this jump, travis just dosent jump in the car and jump the ramp...........he has a process in wich everything he does (a point system) risk and reward. travis is the man and to the person who said the jump was weak(unless you were kidding) your a jack *****

kind of dissappointing since greaves just did 302...... rally car ...trophy truck....doesnt matter , but it was a pretty cool jump not on par with robbie maddisons stuff but still entertaining

that thing sounds like a weed eater :p

that pretty impressive but not like maddo. i wish he woulda done something this year. and i think pastranas jump didn't look as scary as ken blocks 171 footer :ermm: we'll see what ken block comes back with

I thought it was really boring. There was nothing in it to peak my interest. Anyone with the balls to do it could have made that jump. (Not saying I do) Sit in a car, get it to 90 and hold on. No real skill in it or any reason Pastrana is the only one who could have done it.

Maddison's jump last year was much more impressive in my opinion. There was a chance of disaster, and while I'm sure he isn't the only one who could complete that jump, it takes way more skill than the car jump.

Dang everyones coming out of the woodwork now showing their true feelings :p ....I thought it was pretty cool. I thought it was supposed to be 300 feet though. I could understand if he was at 290 or something but when you advertise 300 feet and jump 270 that's kind of :ermm:.... especially with Greaves doing 302 with no real media present only a couple weeks before like SRH said. Yeah, the landing was pretty short... that's their fault. Don't hype it up that much if you don't have the space to do what you said you would.

And I agree that if any of us had as much rally car experience, people telling us exactly how to hit it, and the money.... we could probably do it. But we don't, which makes it pretty awesome to watch :D

Don't want to sound like too much of a hater though. It takes balls to do that and Travis does a lot of crap I wouldn't dream of doing lol. Props to him for the stunt and all the other crazy stuff he does on Nitro Circus.

i thought it was pretty gnarley he had to slam it in at the end i dont care who you are. sit in a car and try and jump that thing. a truck has a ton of suspension too look at the sti that he jumps it still only sits about 12 in off the deck.

The suspension travel is what makes the truck a little less spectacular than the car. I'm sure that would be pretty crazy, but just not as intense as what Robbie does. Travis does a lot more crazy crap on the show than that jump. I would hit that jump in a rally car 100 times before trying to do 70-80 foot backflip on a big wheel.
