need help from computer guys

i have an older dell computer. (porbably 6 years old) and it wont let me log onto my user name. ill start the comp, then click my name it will load show my background for a quick second and then just go back to the screen where i can click my name again. does anyoneknow how to fix this without spending a whole lot of money or even free. thanks

Does it give a bad PW message or anything? Try hitting F8 on startup and going into Safemode. Make sure everything boots up fine. If it is a forgotten PW issue, just do a search and download ERD Commander and it will let you change local account policies.

You think 6 years is old?! My other computer is about 14-15 years old! hahah it seriously takes about 30 seconds to load google!
