i have a prob. i turned my engine overcounter clock wise an watch the intake valves close an get to the T and my rockarms have no play. could someone b4 me tighted them so tight that this could happen?? thx in adavance!!!!

They may be gummed up somehow. id open the head and spray some cleaner in there on the rocker arm pins and see if that helps anything. Or maybe some wd40

the bike runs fine i just wanted to make sure cuz it was a little noisey. i also loosed the jam nut an backed the screw off an can not get feelers guage in there. deff sounds gummed up to me.

Are you sure your on the compression stroke? It doesnt sound like it to me. If the valves are that tight I doubt they would be sealing and the bike probably wouldn't be running right. Id double check because on the compression stroke there should be some play in the rockers. Id try turning it through the revolution a couple times and see if anything changes.

I agree with mcgrath you are on the intake stroke but keep going ccw dont back up

do you have a timing advance key? the key will make the T useless

iv turned it over many times never turns out right, and i dont think ihave the timing adavnce key, how could i check?

take the spark plug out,and rotate the flywheel to t,holding the screwdriverin the sparky hole, see if it hits the top before going back down its stroke.if it hits top n the t is lined up your ok if not, somethings not right.john
