Predator Compression Check

I just got a 2003 predator 500 and I am going to go through it this winter, so I can ride it in the spring. It will not start, but it is 10 degrees here.

I bought a new compression checker and hooked it in and noticed it had only 60PSI. I did not do anything with a decompression valve.

Does it have a decompression valve? 60 seems low.

If i spray carb cleaner in the carb it will run for a few seconds.

yes it does but only if youre still on stock cams
book calls for 130 but you have to make sure the throttle is wide open to get the most accurate reading.....
