hey guys i was wondering if i can run a stage 3 cam in my 400ex without putting a big bore kit on it.. i already have the stage 1 on it .. mine is bored a lil over to a 86mm piston and i also have rev box, white bros slip on, k&n air filter, a small port and polish.. let me no wat u guys think

Well a stage 3 hot cam is made for more top end power. In your case i dont believe they recommend puting in a big bore kit. So i think u would be safe by just runing the stage 3 hot cam without a big bore kit.

You may have to put 2 head gaskets on because a stage 3 has a higher lift which could cause your valves and piston to collide ,and two head gaskets will blow out by the way

what type of riding do you mainly do is the question. that will determine if you really need such a large(agressive) cam.

I MOSTLEY JUST RACE .... THATS ALL WE DO AROUND HERE LOL WE FIND A STR8 ROAD AND RACE..

Stick with what you have, you'll lose performance/rideability with the stg 3.
