1997 yamaha big bear 4x4 carb questions

1997 big bear 4x4 i just picked up will run but. . the slide is not coming up when i open the throttle. it runs but will not rev. I checked the diaphram on top and it looks good, what could it be?

I am lazy so I suggest u try some carb cleaner and see if it helps. Spraying the linkages wit wd40 shouldn't hurt either.

it was the rubber diapham, it was spinning on the center piece, jury rigged it
