I bought my 416 piston directly from Ross for $125.00. The quality was excellent. I've got two dune trips, two desert trips, and about 50+ drag and hill races on it so far with 0 problems to report. I had the machine shop fit the rings and I installed the piston. The compression rings went in with ease but the oil ring was a b##ch. However the engine has not dripped or burned any oil since the install. So I guess the PIA oil ring was a good thing.

No problems at all with mine, i went with a standard bore 10.5-1 piston. Bought it from ross and its $125. Had no problems installing it at all. Very pleased with it.

Look for the xr400 pistons on their site if you plan to buy from them, same thing as the ex.
