waist of money

u would be better off putting 250 to a slip on hmf

Edit: you can almost get a full exhaust for that price

It is not just the exhaust. Look at what you get.
This includes a full exhaust system ($300), K@N Xstream power lid with a prefilier($125), Moose Racing Jet kit and ingnition modual($115). All new is $540

jetkits are pointless for a stock carb on the 400ex which is easy as hell to tune o thats a waste of money , get a uni filter and run no lid unless u like to go muddin the filter is like around 30 bucks get main jet for like 5 bucks and and pipe well just pick one personally id go on ebay and get a jardine rt4 they can be had for brand new 140 bucks ive seen awhile back ik cuz i bought one for my yz400f ,

Short answer:

DG pipe= Down Grade

Jet Kit = Useless (you only are going to use 1 jet)

Lid w/ pre filter = wont gain you much without a new air filter first. Even then its not going to be better than with out the lid

Ignition module = pointless, 400's make their power below the rev limit any way.

a cdi box does more than raise the rev limiter, it changes the timing curve to be more aggressive, they increase spark energy for better starting, and cleaner running. and they remove the reverse rev limiter. on my z400 that was the best thing about the cdi. the reverse rev limit is set so low you dont have any power in reverse, its nice to be able to really get into it in reverse now.

but that pipe is absolute junk, you could get a k&n and a slipon of almost anykind for the same price. use a 10 dollar outerweres and forget the $100 lid that just clogs up. i got a ehs lid and its ok but i still feel it was kinda a waste, i have another one i took 10 min cut a 4x6 hole or so in the lid and hot glued a outerweres in there. its more water resistant than the ehs and still looks ok the way i did it, easily replaceable just glue in another one. there is no spark arrestor for that pipe, and that was the first one i had for my first 400, its not even a gain in power, actually the stock pipe might make more power the dg just makes more noise. and dgs headpipes look just like honda ones in the ports HUGE welds!

Ok I got ya on the ignition module. So its kinda like an MSD for a car right?
