i have a 4.5hp push lawnmower engine sitting around. i want to do something with it. a motorized cooler would be sick but i'm not sure if it would work. any thoughts?

buy a used minibike frame from ebay or craigslist, and build yourself a vintage style pit bike.
here's a pic of my '71 Meyers Lynx, sold by the same company that built/sold the famous Meyers Manx fiberglass dunebuggies.
some of these old minibikes are worth some serious cash.
see if you can find an old Taco frame or Rupp frame, and you'll have a vintage collectors pitbike.

Then do something creative like oversized wheels/tires on a old Radio Flyer Wagon, and mount your cooler in that, and hook it to the minibike like a trailer. use a old classic red Coca-Cola cooler, and you'll turn some heads.

is it a horizontal or vertical shaft motor? likely vertical if it's out of a mower... in which case i don't have any ideas for you. horz shaft, then you got some options.
