Radiator Questions

Greeting Gentlemen!
I have purchased a 2007 YFZ450 radiator and fan for a project of water cooling a FL350 Odyssey and have a couple of questions.

1.) What is the purpose of the hose on the back side of the fan. I can't seem to draw air through it running or not. I thought it might be a fresh air line.

2.) There are 2 sensors on the front side of the radiator, one green and one black. My guess is one is a temp sensor and the other a switch for the fan. Am I correct? If so or if not what is each one for?

The hose on the fan is just a water/ condisation drain, and also to get fresh air to the motor

You are correct on the sensors
The one on the left goes to cdi and temp light.
The one on the right ( by radiator cap controlls the fan.
