ok, so are the outlaw chassis the one that have a lt motor or a banshee or did they make them to run a 250 motor also...

they made 250r chassis and motor also. Jp is now LSR. They were offered in stock and no-link.

stock link and no-link have 2 very different upper shock mounts. Also no-link not having a bottom linkage mount. A stock link upper mount is below the sub-frame ~2". A no-link upper shock mount is more forward and above the sub-frame(also no linkage mounts). There is also cr500 links(walsh, laeger and other smaller makes), those upper shock mounts are even higher(you have to notch the seat pan to fit), it has bottom linkage mounts, but the stock link stuff won't fit and most of positioned tothe right(so airbox won't be a pita).

what about the motor choices? how can i tell if its for the trx or the lt or shee?

I can't answer that one, never owned a shee or lt, nor do ever plan on owning either.
