spastic designs 300ex graphics...

hey i have an 06 300ex with stock plastics and ive been reading up on factory 7 about the graphic kit. it says i need maier race front plastics are they really needed or will they fit on the stock plastics? please send pics if u have done it on stockies etc much appreciated thanks

i dont get it tho they look exactly the same where the graphics would be just the maiers have no fenders.....

ok look at it this way the Stock plastics the Hood and Fenders the stockies have fenders the maier race cut have no fenders at all, their race cut but the part i am talking about it the side of the gas tank and the hood (the Cowl) where the graphics go, they are No different at all...so why wouldnt race cut graphics fit on stock plastics....

on the page it says they'll fit maier race fenders and below that it says will Not fit the custom fenders

my guess would be because the stock body has different sections, part of which these graphics would spread onto, covering the lines and gaps between the seperate panels, causing them to peel because dirt, air and water will get in the cracks

ah ok that makes sense thanks guys for the help i was bein a bit head strong in the older post, wishful thinkin...w/e well thanks for the help guys i was getting close on buying these..
