Gt thunder Linkage Difference MX XC

I have a MX GT thunder Linkage now but I am changing my set up to XC. The question is the difference between the MX and XC KLinkage?

I have some houser linkage if you would like to trade! Im not sure the difference either. I have the Houser XC Linkage and want to setup for MX for my wife and I'm not sure of the difference either.

The MX is designed to work with 18" tires, the XC is designed to work with 20" tires.
