I have an elka elite that was serviced. Maybe 5 hours on it since.

how much for the elka and what length is it or are all cr 500 links the same length?

I would take 750 shipped and they are all the same length.

They are not all the same length. The Laeger CR500 chassis uses a different length shock than the Walsh CR500 link chassis.

My PEP CR500 shocks were the same length on my Laegers and Walsh Rs.

I only say this because a buddy of mine has a Walsh CR500 chassis and his swingarm was hitting a bolt on his linkage. Walsh and Axis said the shock might have been set up for a Laeger chassis. He had it shortened (it wasn't much) and problem solved. I'll do some more digging on this topic.

I have both as well and they are the same length but I will measure the elka for you.

I'll measure the shocks off of my Laeger and Walsh CR500 quads tomorrow. Watch them be the same length...:p

Lol. I measured the shocks tonight and it turns out the Elka CR500 shock on my Walsh is longer than the PEP CR500 shock on my Laeger. The Elka shock on my Walsh is 18.75 center to center and the PEP shock on my Laeger is 18.375 center to center. I'm going to do some more research on this topic.

is the laeger a narrow frame? also, if it is a narrow frame is there a certain stem needed for it, because the nut on my stock one seems too big to tighten, i cant get a socket or wrench in there to tighten it up. thanks for all the help!

On the Laeger narrow frames you need a stem that has a socket bolt which threads into the stem to tighten it down. A stock stem will not work unless you mod it.

alright, thanks for the info. Now im sure laeger is the only one that has that? or do other companys make them too and do you have to tell them you need it to be bolt secured?
