In the future I plan on racing XC. Is it nessecary to buy aftermarket suspension or will the stockers do fine? Thanks

The stockers are ok, but once you get faster they will start beating you up pretty bad.:(

Deff. If you are going to be serious bout any type of racing a good aftermarket suspension is a good Idea. I ran all last year Mx season on stockers. I still ended up 2nd but now this year I be in a higher class and I need to ride faster to keep up. The only way I can do that is with better shocks. You can only go as fast as you shocks and a arms will let you.
