help!!!!!

i bought a 400ex carb for my 1999 300ex what do i need to do to get maximum performance out of it? please tell me cause right now i have to quarter trottle before pinning or else it bogs. ty

you need to play with the needle clip, try moving it up or down 1 spot and see if that helps you.

ive already tried but its still bogging before it picks up if i pin it but thanks for the advice

What jets are in it....... sounds like you need a bigger pilot jet. Man I wish I could remember what's in Kyle's.

Don't know if your in a hurry but as soon as I get the 125 apart I'm going to be bringing the 300 in to tare it down....it should be next week. We put the 400 carb on this year and he said it made a big difference. Ours will be for sale....we going with a TC Motor. www.kylekozura.com this past year was his first year on the 300. Last season we ran a 400 carb on our 300. We ran a 138 main and a 38 pilot. I live in Florida so I know there will be differences due to altitude and temperature. You will probably have to go up a few on the jets. Make sure carb is good and cleaned out. Good Luck!!

The needle was in the middle
