Well i wanted to learn how to ride a dirt bike so i picked up a new bike. its a 99 rm 250 it has race tech built suspension racetech rear spring fmf gnarly etc. got a great deal on it. its my first dirtbike. just figured ive been racing quads 4 years and riding them a total of 6 years. so why not mix it up a lil bit. so heres some pics of the bike (the damagae on the gnarly was done by me) and a shot of my quad since i was working on it anyway.

yea dude u can pick a nice 2 stroke up for cheap right now. once i learn on it a lil ill start bringng it with my quad up to breezewood and any practicie track for that matter

i did the same thing, i bought at the time a brand new 2007 yz250f so i could ride when there was no where to ride the quad, 2 years later, i LOVE my dirtbike, i will pick it over my quad which has been sitting for literally over a year on a stand with no intension to ride. ha ha ha. its so much more convenient around central California to ride.
all the tracks are about 2 hours away from me that alow quads.

i picked up an RM250 back over summer to do a few races with. i had a ton of fun on that bike.. just recently sold it to pay for my truck but i would definitely pick up another.. great bikes!

Nice bike, bikes are a lot of fun once you get used to them. I still havent had the chance to get used to riding a big bike, but I own a 07' crf70 and man that thing is fun to throw around and lay down in berms. The hardest thing about a bike is trying not to break your leg or ankle! Too bad dirt bikers still talk sh|t about you if you ride a quad though, I cant stand those kinda ppl.. oh well.

yea i dont care what anybody says or thinks so that doesnt bother me. and caleb i traded a ok condition 250ex for it and the guy gave me 160 cash on top of it cant beat that

Cool bike. I've had a lot of rm's in the past. Good bikes. My 97 rm was an awesome woods bike, I probably liked my 04 rm250 the best.

nice bike, i really miss riding them, my favorite was the 93 and newer cr 500, very controllable, easy to ride like a 4 stroke and tons of balls
