which graphics on silver plastics?

So im looking around for some graphic kits for my 400ex as im getting silver plastics from a fellow member on here and cant decide which colors or which ones would look good on silver. The plastics have a carbon hood on them if that helps any. I might just to go goforitgraphics.com and use them and just make me some but id like to have a matching seat cover also. Also does the bomb squad graphics for a 400ex include the 99-04 or just 05+ ?

btw im going with silver and red anodized accents on the bike and some chrome

I think no graphics are pretty good looking too. maybe go without graphics for a while and see how you like it then decide what you want to get.

wow i like that a lot. Im gonna run no grahpics for a little while but do plan on some in the future. I also considered some NAC'S graphics to go with the old school look im going for. Ill be running turf tamers on the rear and grooved radials in the front for a mx set up. The NAC'S would probably make for a good mixture of old school

I would say that leaving it just gray would look the best in my opinion also. steve

That would have been my suggestion, who would have guessed LOL :devil:

But you really can't go wrong with their graphics and seat cover combo. Hard part is choosing a color. I like the classic gray myself :cool:

deffinently go with the grey nacks. that would look pretty sick. esspecially if your looking for old school.

checked nac's site and the only color they have is red, which might not look bad since im going with red accents on the bike also.

That's weird they only offer the red now. I see they modified the graphics kit a bit as well for the 400 from the original kit.

You can also put a Nac's 250R kit on the 400. It looks great on the 400, just need to do some trimming. I have a buddy with a 400 with orange race cut Maiers and a gray 250R Nac's kit and it looks killer. In fact, Nac's themselves used to put the 250R kits on their 400EX's before the 400 kit was out yet. Here's a VERY old pic of the 250R kit on one, and my inspiration years ago for my quad's theme:

that looks awesome! Ill get 250r ones then. Ill just tell them i need the cover for the 400ex. I hope its the same cover as in that pic. Also the bad part about silver plastics with the silver graphics is they will blend a good bit but might look ok. Also do they still make the headlight covers?

Yeah does look nice when done properly. Like I said you just have to get creative trimming off the extra pieces that don't work with the 400EX side panels. The hardest part will probably be cutting out a perfect circle for the fuel valve. And FYI I have the 400 kit on mine, so I don't have first hand experience on exactly what needs to be trimmed, just that it can be done.

And yes, the headlight covers are up on their site again! :cool:

i ran motoworldracing graphics just cause i got a sponsorship from them this year.. they were black and grey and i had them on a yellow plastic.. they looked pretty good but with a grey plastic im sure they would look even better!
