hello i have a 1988 trx 250r i am just getting the top end back it has a big bore kit and will supposedly displace 285ccs but im not sure i figure since i have the whole motor torn down{to replace broken left case} and i got the top end redone and have all new cables and the carb will be rebuilt i figure i might as well get a good clutch but i have no idea what a good one is for my set up i dont need a super full blown race clutch but i figure better then stock so does anyone have any suggestions for me any info will be appreciated thanks

ya i know rocky mountain atv ive bought things from them im wondering what best type is to use for my app

Well not sure what to tell u but if it was me i'd probably go with the Tusk but thats my opion

to get a good clutch, get stock fibers, stock metal plates, use a 400ex metal in the center, cr500 springs and aluminum drain washers under the spring bolts. This is c-leigh's no-slip clutch mod. A new cable w/ easy pull lever or hydrolic clutch is needed for it. Check the outer and inner clutch basket also, both of them groove making the clutch harder to pull and not engaging right away.
