I need to visit one of y'all. I love snow, but So. KY doesn't give me a chance to ride in a very good snow but maybe once a year. Most of the snow we get melts on landing.:scary:

So far the snow has been avoiding us again this year. That BIG storm that came up the coast, yeah we got about 2" from it

You're all crazy. I live in Utah and I hate the snow. I don't like riding in it at all. lol. Sucks living in a state who's motto is, "Greatest snow on earth" and I hate snow. :scary:

It sure it fun from time to time. Those pictures are actually from our Sand Dunes. We woke up to 6" of fresh powder.

If you do a youtube search of "North Sand Hills" you will see our small Dunes.

I havent had a chance to ride in the snow yet this winter. I think I might come down (to tell my boss) with a cold and take the day off tomorrow and go ride. Perfect weather in Colorado right now. 35 degrees and the snow is falling. Wet enough to get a good grip but enough of it that you can throw it around pretty well.

Are the upper shock mounts on your z400 moved? Your shocks seem to have a different stance than most.

For those of you saying too much snow, how much is that? I've never rode in deeper than 6 or 7 inches other than the occasional drift. And when it starts melting, does it make it hard to ride in like a wet snow?

Idk why you guys are complaining about to much? We have a foot here and my quad does fine? And when its powdery its easier to ride in.

A couple years ago we had a winter outlaw Harescramble, and since the 250R's and 450R's were going through winter rebuilds, I decided to pull out my stock Banshee, even though I never raced one before. I was surprised at how well I liked it for racing.

we got 2ft here in hanover md. after the plow got to the road with a good 6-8" base it was killer snow ridding, good for cleaning tires too:p

Was able to get at the 'wheeler for about 20min or so today. It's been sitting for a while in a trailer, so it took a while to start. After letting it warm up for 5min or so, it was all business!! Those Razr2's did impressively well in the amount of snow we had here today; better than my 400ex ever did with Holeshot XCR's of the same size- it clawed thru light drifts w/o much throttle at all, but I'm sure having skids helps. There's a nice little 'ramp' at the back of the yard leading into a cornfield- it's fun to hit in 3rd-4th and catch a bit of air.
