Welcome to the wonderful world of 250f's. If anything else needs replaced, do it while you're in there. In the end you'll save yourself time and money. What exactly happened to it?

while i was riding it the motor started feeling "heavy". like if the rear breaks were on. so i tried to make it back to the truck and when i made it to the parking lot it shut off on me, so i pushed it over to my truck to imediatly checked the oil filter! and bam! there it all was. but the wierd part is, it never gave me any signs, i went threw 2 cranks on my 450r last year and it started making noises, so i caught those in time.

i bought the bike used, the guy told me the motor had a complete rebuild on it, top to bottom. looks like the guy lied to me becasue i could start to feel the clutch slipping and i have a weird feeling about the valves too.
