Sounds just like the setup I have. I gotta Sparks Key sitting here whenever I get around to installing it. Also, shocks do a lot of good, but your heading in the right direction.

I would get a foam filter over the k and n because it lets too much dust into the motor. I have a sparks racing and love it.

You shouldn't need the clutch kit yet until you get some more serious engine mods. That is unless your stock clutch is already bad and needs replacing.

Stay away from DG, that are not the most respected brand out there. Go with AC or Graydon.

I agree with that, depending on the conditions you ride on. If you ride on the sand, go for the k&n, but for dirt/dust/mud go with a foam type. UNI is the foam type I would choose.

Ok thanks for all the input, im still trying to decide on exhaust, i already have the dg nerf bars, they seem fine to me no problems in 6 months. and will a normal 400 outerwear fit a uni filter? thanks.

i would have to say that white bros. e-series. i rode a 400ex with one and it really helped out. but i plan on going with a full system myself.
