Craigslist 250R

Here is a few quick cell phone photo of an '87 I bought off craigslist the other day. Frame is nice and strait, stock motor, on 1st overbore, clutch updated, has a clarke tank. Are these full bore plastics? They are full fendered. I would rather have race cuts.....

Think this is ok for $1000?

I am in Oshkosh. I will be ice riding on saturday on Winnebago by Fond du Lac. I will have my 2 250r's out there and some buddies will have thier 450s.

Do you ride the ice?

You got a good deal. I saw it on the Appleton Craigslist last week. I was considering taking a look at it but didn't really have room for another quad.

no i havnt ever gone on the ice... i have a sister over by you... shes gettin hitched in feb.

Sure! This weekend, 1-23, I will be out on Fox lake riding. There is a race out there, but I am not racing.
I will prob be fun riding somewhere in the 30th.
First saturday of Feb, is otter street race, right here in oshkosh. Again, I wont be racing, just fun riding.
The second week of Feb, there is a race on the south end of Winnebago I will be going to.

I ride almost every weekend availble with guys that race. I dont race anymore in formal races, I can't chance getting hurt.

I like my R. Its not wild motor-wise...yet.

I prefer the frame of a 250r over a 400ex or even a 450r. It just fits my riding syle better.

dont cut those fenders if u really want race cut fenders im sure someone would trade and u could make some money too off them.
