Just picked up a 450r today

Hey guys just got my first honda 450r today, it's set up for mx. I really like it so far. The only thing I would like to change on it is the clutch, the pull on this thing is un godly hard. It has a 909 perch on it i think. Gonna try and replace the cable and see if that helps any. I'd just like to get it as smooth and easy as my kfx450r if possible. Any suggestions?

Dont have any yet. I got it from a member on the site. It's in the honda section of the for sale adds. His sn is RIDEREDSON i think.

for now just get a new cable like you said and make sure you lube it good

Start with a new cable, since it's easy and cheap. If it's still hard after that, open the side case up and inspect the clutch basket. Sometimes they get grooved pretty good and it will also result with hard pull too.

I will definately say the cable can make one much stiffer than somebody might think.
