i just replace the pads on my 87 250x and when i was using the c-clamp to push back the piston brake fluid starting leaking out of the back side seal of the caliper. when i tried the brake i have no pressure and the fluid runs right out of the back side of the caliper seal.what did i do wrong. gotta another question too. i just received and installed an axle from ebay. the ad said "fits all 250x and 300ex" well after sliding the axle thru my swing arm i found that there is not enough axle length to attach the axle nut. none of the spline comes past the brake rotor. did they make different axles for the 250x? the replacement axle came of a '91.

As for the axle i dont think that there is a differnce, cause they have the same part numbers and i have had a lonestar 300 axle in my x before. You have to make sure that axle is really pushed though there, when i put mine in i pushed it as far as i could then picked up the back end and slide on on the ground to push it alittle more just to make sure. hope this helps

You blew the o-ring seal 91358-964-006. Its always good to replace these 06451-961-405 while your in there. They are both very inexpensive.
Hope this helps.
