300ex rear brake rezy swap, and pedal swap?

my stock 300 rear master cylinder rezy was shot, cracked badly and the mount on the frame was nearly rusted off.

i want to go with a spin off cap style but was wondering where the racer guys are mounting them? also can i swap out the pedal for something aluminum like a 450r or yfz450?

trying to limit the about of steel parts i have since i dont like painting things or powercoating things like that.

This is where I put mine when I had my 300. The exhaust was melting it.

wow that is a great idea, never thought of that. I switched to the 400 resi hoping it was smaller and it would stop melting I haven't checked it in a while.

im going to use a 450r one and we're going to weld it was lower close to the master cylinder, i dont wanna put it on my air box since i am having a new aluminum one made for my 36mm carb and 350x air boot.

this setup is off of my old xc 250r. z400 rezzie, 250r master, yz250f rear caliper. Looks trick and all you have to do is open the holds on the brake stay a little
