and if so what slip-on are you running and di it affect the performance negatively over the factory muffler. I would like to get a slip-on but I have heard the back pressure from the factory exhaust gives it more power than a slip-on. Is this true?

I was running a slip on for a while, did some testing and ended up putting the factory muffler back on. Back pressure is key and is engineered by honda to maximize performance with the low to mid range 06+ hrc cam. Some top-line full exhaust systems out there will produce more power but at a much higher expense.

A slip on is much lighter than the factory muffler but the weight savings still are not enough to out perform it.

The sound of the hrc muffler isn't all great either and some say its worth the sound having a slip on.

I like the power mine has now, I just don't want to screw it up for sound.
