AMA quad Stock class

In 2006 they offerd a stock class at mx,xc,and tt. Just wondered what happend to it. Was there not enough people in the class to keep it going? With all the new quads that you dont have to do as mutch to, to get them ready to race. For the most part with the suzuki and yamaha you need kill switch and nurfs and numbers you can race. Can am and ktm you just need some numbers. Just wish they would bring it back.

yeah but a stock ktm would kill a stock yfz or trx. They could just run C class with stock bikes.

It would be nice to see a stock A,B and C class, instead of dumping 20,000 in a quad to win a 5.00 dollar trophy.

I would love to see stock classes in XC now w the manufacturers putting out these race ready quads

I for one would sell my race bike and run a bone stock KTM/Can Am

I agree with SRH, you don't need a 20 grand quad to win in any trophy classes I know of. Stock quads are killer these days. I love to kill it on my wifes stock 400ex - can easily clear everything at the proving grounds!

that is why i was wishing that they would bring it back. bc i dont want to build a bike the ones that come off the show room are way better that they where just 4 years ago.
