i just bought a ELKA ELITE rear shock from a guy on forums and he told me it was long travel. i got the shock and measured it and its 19 eye to eye. how ever my stocker 06 is same length. does this mean its not a long travel shock and can be used with stock linkage?

he said the shock was on his 07 yfz with houser swingarm, link and pullrod. however he sold the link a pullrod before i bought the shock so i need to figure out what link and pullrod i can use with this shock and still function like suppose to.

Well if it was built for the houser link and pullrod it need that setup to perform its best as it is now. Or send it out and get it reworked and match it to linkage of your choice.
