300ex problem

ok guys im new here but i just had this problem start a couple of days ago.....
my four wheeler cut off in the woods so i triied to roll start it(tryed 3 times) and it juz druged the back tire so i got it back started and i go to pull off and i hear this noice so i get on oit all the way to 3rd and look back and theres smoke(no smoke be for it cut off) so i just parked it and i thought it was gears or something but any of u guys have solutions??????:confused:

What color smoke?

Any Noise?

Check your oil?

Power loss?

How did it shift?

the color of the smoke it white.

yes the noise sounds like something is craking but its not just once but its while the motor is on

i put oil in it and i cranked it back up and still had the same noise

not for sure it seems tha same as usual

i checked the oil and its grey i have no clue y but i think thats it.


how do i bleed the oil out

The drain plug is in the middle of the transmission case..it sounds like you locked it up and it broke loose again..chech your compression

grey oil smoke and acracking noise in your engine sounds like u got a pison issue . and i would not ride or run ur quad its not like you can just put more ol in it will granade and ruin ur engine
