Valve Adjustment

I just put a 440 kit in my 400 and a hotcams stage 1 cam and i was just tryin to figure out how to adjust the valves and what other adjustments im gonna need to do so i can throw this thing together and not blow it up or anything when i fire it up?

Click on the "EX Tech" link at the top of the page. It has instructions on how to do the valve adjustment. The only other thing to do is make sure you break it in properly. You can also find tons of info on how to do that by searching the site for "break-in".

find top dead center (tdc) and find out what clearance is suggested with your cam. all aftermarket cams reguire a different amount of clearance.
