i would say that a cr double high would be a good for you. I really like my setup but i have risers to help raise it up. they are actually the adaptors to go to the 1 1/8" bars. I like my tags. steve

My Honda shop had a sale on Pro Taper bars a while back. I picked up a set of ATV Hi bend bars and they are great. I did have to do some modifications to the brake line mounts though, the rubber line would pull very tight when turning the bars full right. I had to straighten the steel line and make a longer bracket for the flexible rubber line that runs to the resivoir.

I hated the stock bars, everytime I needed to turn sharp, the stockers would hit the outsides of my legs. The Pro Tapers are higher up and straighter.

im thinking i should go measure the stocks and then look at the measurements of the different types. does anyone have the dimensions of the stock bars?

heres some info on the bars from renthal. i think denniskirk shows the sizes of them in the catalog also. http://www.renthal.com/File/fit_my_bike_process.asp?zone=USA&biketype=ATV&manufacturer=HONDA&model=TRX%20400EX/X&bikedate=1999

i will check and see if i can find it on their site. steve

I have the Pro Taper ATV Lo Bends, and they're sick. I trimmed mine just a touch cause i'm short and it was far for my arms to reach, but they're wicked nice.

i bought some used tag x2 off of the forum. the guy crashed his quad and bent the stem really bad but the bars are straight. they look great and are really strong.
