Hello,

I have read a couple posts where people are talking about removing the jumper on the stock CDI box. What is the jumper and what are the benifts of doing this?

Thanks,
Jason

Find you CDI box under the front plastic, in front of the gas tank, and clipped to the frame just behind the steering stem pull it down and locate the two screws with the metal clip attached to them. loosen both screws and remove the clip. Also loosen the screw sticking out of the throttle assembly and adjust the jam nut on it so the throttle will go wide open...it is a throttle stop. Test ride it and you will notice the engine will rev higher and the top speed will go from the previous max of around 15 mph to now around 30 mph.
