It really hit home for me. Don't know exactly why....but I think it has alot to do with being a parent.
When I was younger I would have shrugged it off. Today.... it hits home.

Makes me really appreciate what I have.

we need to be the right example for our kids especially in this area - we've chosen to be booze-free since b4 they were born over 10yrs ago...this video is couple reasons why.

I hope you're right. But sometimes you might want to worry about the other guy that's been drinking.

It's like on New Years Eve. It's not me that I'm worried about....it's the other drivers.

So we stay home.

I also linked it to my Facebook...It's just a reminder of things that can happen. I lost 3 friends in one accident and a cousin in another in a time span of 2 years due to this. We also stay home on New Years Eve...better SAFE then sorry.


P.S. Tom if you noticed we had a governer on that golf cart...and i wasn't driving...:) it was that crazy French woman....LOL:devil:

If you all could only see just SOME of the things I have seen!
As I write this I'm choking up with vivid memories. Almost 10 years of Midnight shift I've seen some terrible things.
I've had to make those late night appearances at peoples home to give them the news that a family member has been killed. There is NOTHING worse than trying to console a mother who's child has been killed. (Young or Old) What people should know is that whether or not your the drunk driver or the innocent party - YOUR FAMILY WILL BE DEVASTATED!
My opinion - If you drink and drive - you are on the edge of suicide.
We ALL believe it won't happen to us.

as an owner of a towing and recovery buisness this is an all to real and tragic truth we see this sort of thing almost daily , as we have seen the fatalities on holidays, b days , graduation nite , very sobering when you actually see the aftermath , i also feel the same about street bikes we have scraped more of them off the road then i care to talk about , we will stay on all four wheels in the dirt
