This cylinder has a broken skirt!!! Nothing else is wrong with it!
Ive had this cylinder for a while and ive been thinking i was going to fix it but i havnt had the time. If anyone is nterested, you could have a really nice pv cylinder all put together for about half the price of a brand new one. This cylinder has midrange porting and comes with a 19cc dome and the billet head. The bore is currently 68.50

I would like 200 + Shipping
Thanks

I would like to have a steel sleeve designed for a cylinder like that if you find one. I think I could do a tripple port stock cylinder with a little welding.

Is it nikasil or steel sleeve? All of the ones I have seen a nik but maybe some of the early ones were steel?

earliest years were steel sleeve, but this cylinder has a nik coating.

Looks like you could get a custom steel sleeve made by NW for around $200. I am pretty sure you would have to put a steel sleeve in that pc2000 cylinder.

I bet you could get a 310 sleeve in that thing. 330 would be too big..... the pv would need some modifying. The intake on these is similar to an 86 correct.

yes 330 is way to big, the sleeve would get into where the pv comes out. 310 would work but i think a smaller one would be best.

ok i would like yo see you re sleeve a cylinder like that becasue you cant... yes it is... here is the hole deal... i offered him a stock chassis of his choice, he was a little short on money... i uderstand that times are tough.. i understood that.. so i offered him a chassis with the year his choice... i would gusset the chassis free of charge... he wouldnt have to pay for a 70 dollar gusset kit, nor the 20-30 dollar welding charge. plus 125 to cover all the shipping and everything else for his duncan... i think a gusseted chassis for about 245 is a deal wouldnt you have to say?

Seems a little to much to me. As I said earlier in the the post you can get a custom sleeve made for around $200. Have a machine shop deck the cylinder or remove whats left of the aluminum casting/sleeve on the bottom. Install the sleeve make any adjustments to the pv. Here is who you need to talk to http://www.nwsleeve.com/ this is who makes all of esr's hardened sleeves for their new cylinders. If you send the cylinder to them they can design you a sleeve. I have used them for a pro-x sleeve and they should be able to do it in any bore you want.

how are you going to do that when the cyl isnt a big bore... its at most a 265... that cy wall that you would sleeve in wouldnt be very much... unless you can bore through the nik. you wouldnt me left with much of a wall...

whats the deal i though you wanted a chassis... im soo lost on this thing...

That casting will accept up to a 74mm bore for a sleeve. I know you could drop in a 265 sleeve and maybe maybe something larger. That cylinder would be no different than a stock cylinder when it comes to installing a bigger sleeve. With the exception of modifying the pv.

Duncan uses that same casting on their 340. There is plenty of room for it.
