First Wreck

I got in my first car wreck tonight..not fun.I was driving my dads truck to so that makes it even worse. I just got done putting gas in the truck and decided to take the long way home..first mistake of the night..on the way back home i hit a patch of black ice and the back tires broke lose and i lost control..i almost had it back under control when i made the second bad mistake of the night..hitting the brakes while the truck was fish-tailing. The truck slid all the way around then and when off the road.The snow caught it and it rolled onto the drivers side and stayed there.

We got it all pulled out and the damage was a lot less than what i was expecting..two dents in the door and a dent in the box..not to bad.I feel like i got pretty lucky on this night since the truck is alright and i came out perfectly fine.

sorry i dont have any pics of the actual wreck but i might be able to get some pics of the truck tomorrow..i was really shaken up and i just wanted to get the truck out and get home so i wasnt really thinking about pics and i didnt have a camera either

glad your okay. my first and only wreck was because of icy roads dont remember what happend but my truck rolled on its side took out two smaller trees and one big tree stopped me bending my box in a u shape woke up on my passenger side door not even knowing what happend at first. not fun

yea..not fun at all...i remember everything that happened and it just keeps running through my head..did anything happen to you in your wreck?

at first thought i was fine got a cut on my forehead. my neck was pretty stiff for the next couple days, but now idk if its from the wreck or not but every once in a while i get a shock in my neck from nerves aint that bad but it gets me by suprise like someone took a tazer to me lol.

sounds like you got out of it alright..im in richland center..i think its about an hour and a half or so between here and tomah

Hit a patch of black ice around 65 mph and went through a telephone pole (yes, right through it..haha) and hit a few trees before coming to a stop. The firewall is what snapped the telephone pole. Got a small cut on my knee and that was it.

wow wrekd..thats a pretty crazy crash..ur lucky you only got that one cut..didi that happen recently?
