Has anyone found a more powerful battery with more CCA that will fit on the 06 TRX450ER?

i have a 400ex so i am not sure if the batteries are the same but while i was searching over in the 400ex section i found this

http://www.batterystuff.com/batteries/motorcycle/YT12A-BS.html

and it is

2005-2007 gsx-r 1000
55 more CCA than the ex battery
and its a 9.5 AH battery compared to the ex's 8 AH
and its the exact same size

does this also fit a 450r i have no clue. im just the new guy who saw your thread and thought i would share what i found.

a 400EX battery is just a little bit bigger in size compared to a 450R battery.

Somebody just posted something on here a little while back about some lithium ion batteries for the ER... Do some research and check it out

the battery that you want is a turntech 5ah, its smaller and lighter than stock(by ~80%) on average they are 1-2 lbs and provide alot more power and more cca's. They are expensive, only thing, plan on spending $170 for it. Another thing is get a battery off a a street bike, however those batteries are heavy.

I 2nd the turntech. you pay for it but its a great batt. Also Deka(sp) is a good batt also.

Lithium Ion batteries die faster than the standard batteries.

There have been multiple people who have run dual batteries...

24 Volts to the starter has my vote.
