Anybody here running an edelbrcok one?
Well I have one that I bought with the 450 motor for my z , and I find the throttle VERY stiff, I can do about 2 laps with it on the track and then my thumb is done. Anyone have similar problems/fixes?

I'm no expert on the Edelbrock carb, i do have two thoughts
a lighter carb spring
a different thumber , just because the SRP thumb throttle is more
expensive does not mean its better .
ya the stocker does suck to, it used to drive me nuts .
when i recarbed i had to change to a different thumber and i went with the trx450r thumber and a lighter spring in the carb.
i have read of guys that have even gone to the trx90 thumber ,it has a longer lever ,which for kids gives them more leverage ,not calling you a little kid ,its just the way levers work

I'd be happy if I could go back to the stock feeling, It just kills my hand, unfortunatly I don't think Edelbrock can even get me a spring, I'll have to find a different one myself.
I do understand what you mean for the thumber, but , I don't think It really has anything to do with the throttle itself, but much more like the springs with the carb.
