theres gonna be an argument over every kind of music. i personaly HATE country music. IMO it is the worste music known to man, BUT i know a ton of people like it and cant stand the music i listen to. theres no such thing as good music or there wouldnt be different genre's of it. music is all personal preference. i like lil wayne and when i read the lyrics from that song i was like wow really thats in his song? but then i watched the vid on you tube and it sounded cool in the song. lil wayne's stuff sounds good but sometimes looks terrible on papper. you take eminem for example, great lyrics. all of his songs have a story and meaning, but to be honest i dont really like his music. its alittle to....raw?? i dont know what word im looking for but like the sound isnt as good as the content, completly different from lil wayne

the only rappers who consistently put out good material are 50 cent, jay z, eminem and kanye west..but lately hes become more of a ...pop kinda guy


jay z in my eyes has never put out any material that makes me saw wow....but hell consistently come out with 1 or 2 catchy tracks

eminem is eminem, hes 1 of a kind and prob the best rapper out there

kanye makes good music


50 is by far my favorite, very creative tons of lyrical content... plus it doesnt just sound like rambling, its actual music...i dont care how fast some guy can rant...it needs to be something i want to hear, i think 50 has put out material at some point just about any person could relate to

wayne....well wayne started out cold...got hot...and after hearing this album im kinda unsure with the prison term how he will rebound from this

Lil Wayne thinks he's gods greatest gift to rappers, but in all reality he sucks. He just throws a bunch of crap together that means nothing. I like alot of his songs, they sound good but have no meaning.

Because it's funny. I mean if you're gonna talk about weird stuff in songs why don't you quote Eminem? Don't get me wrong, I think Eminem is hands down the best rapper alive and my personal favorite but he says some pretty "out there" stuff too. Basically the way I see it is Wayne's songs are either REALLY good or terrible.

Yeah I see what you're saying. He is better at matching what he says with a song. I'm kinda the same way. I like Lil Wayne but I think that he does get a little too much hype. People act like he is the next Tupac and he's far from that.
