So here is the start to my 01 Blaster build. I got the frame and parts off of a guy on this site and now it's time to put it all together. I'll keep everyone posted on the progress.

Here is the front suspension. The paint was o.k. but I didn't want yellow so i took them apart and sanded them to be prepped for paint.

Cleaned the shock itself:

Next on the agenda were the swingarm bearings. The old bearing outer races were still stuck in the swingarm, but with a little pounding and cutting they came out.
The parts:

Here it is all together and ready to be installed:

Here is the install of the swingarm, and how the quad currently sits. I'm now clearing out a spot in my garage to finish it up. The only things left to do are installing the motor bolts, wiring harness, putting on the rear rims and tires, finishing up the front suspension, and installing a clutch basket and plates.

Oh and by the way, that other quad in the picture is the next one to build. It's another blaster :D . I'm gonna have TWO!! I picked it up dirt cheap and used some parts for this build. I thought about parting it out to get my money back, but I want to have two quads. The blue one is going to be simple and be a fast race-type quad. I am currently working on finding yfz a-arms, front shocks, and a yfz rear shock. The other one will be a good trail quad with lights and all that junk, but it will be good for the girlfriend to ride. I'll keep letting you all know how everything's going. I can't wait 'til spring.

R there hubs on those rims?

Yeah if you look at the one on the ground it has the hub attached to it. It makes for quick tire changes, just changong out the one big nut and taking the wheels off at the hub.
